  • The convention center is HUGE and it seemed like there was always something big going on inside. However, there is a lot of people enjoying the outside so I decided to walk around and take in some sig...  more »
  • It is a modern building, rather successful, on the edge of the water, visible across the Bay. You see it going down the ferry if you go in the direction of Wan Chai. It is not useful to make a home visit, unless you are looking for a coffee. However, you have free internet access for one hour at the digital information center located in the basement, open until 18:00.

  • Amazing Fair! This time I'm visiting the Autumn Lighting Fair Hong Kong 2017 in October. The Convention Center is fitting hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world! So many brilliant products are exposed, so many nice developments to enjoy, so many interesting people to meet and see! Thanks the directors and the management of the exhibition for arranging such a venue))
  • Excellent service for international and local fairs. After long-hour work, I go to happy hours in Happy Valley. I enjoy foot and body treatment in Zenxes Foot Retreat nearby. Very professional and modern. Here you can meet so many foreign residents enjoying Zenxes services too. Super!
  • Hong Kong’s main convention center. One word to describe it - huge. Always recommended to check the schedule to see what exhibitions or showcases are going on as there is bound to be one that you’re interested in.
  • The convention center's floor plan is very confusing. To get to places, you probably need to take few escalator and lifts and walk half a kilometre. Worst of all, staff is very unfriendly and always waiting to clock out. Also the food prices is going to drain you wallet before you noticed. To be fair, the interior design and decoration is quite nice.
  • It has great facilities and location is quite convenient with subway station within ten minutes walk. However, if you want to eat something decent at a reasonable price you will have to walk out of its area of influence.

Where to stay in Hong Kong

Head to Tsim Sha Tsui for the main tourist section of Hong Kong, where it's easy to find reasonably priced accommodations to suit your particular requirements, with more expensive hotels closer to the water and side streets offering budget hostels. You can also consider Hong Kong Island, which offers easy links to the mainland via its ferry and train lines. Chain hotels sit in the northern section of the island, where luxury and budget options remain available.
