  • These are stars of comics, Comics and manga statues which are aligned on one side of the Kowloon Park. They are pretty, but it's really for specialists or fun for children.

  • This was one of my favorite features of Kowloon park. There are more than 20 huge statues of famous cartoon characters. I will admit that I was only familiar with a few of them because most of them are more popular in Asia. But that did not detract from my enjoyment. It’s hard not to be impressed by 10 foot tall beautiful anime characters.
  • When you're in Kowloon, it's worth to spend a few minutes walking through the Avenue of Comic Stars, look at the cool figures and read about their history. Comics seem to be an important part of Hong Kong's culture, which I wasn't aware of, so I really learned something from visiting this attraction.
  • It is because the HONG KONG 漫畫星光大道 is interesting and amazing.I think it's a good place to see all the cartoon characters.
  • Nice for s quick walk through, the comic stars need info plaques. Clean and nice
  • I'm not sure if this is new, but if it isn't then it is really well maintained. Super clean and great looking, I had a blast looking and reading about Chinese (Hong Kong) comics. It stands out quite a bit when you walk from the correct side of Kowloon Park. It would be something that you could spend 15-20 minutes at while at Kowloon park. I went here because my hotel was right next to Kowloon park, and I went to see the Battery and aviary that was at the park as well. Not a must see if you are in Hong Kong, but if you have the time, then make the attempt.

Where to stay in Hong Kong

Head to Tsim Sha Tsui for the main tourist section of Hong Kong, where it's easy to find reasonably priced accommodations to suit your particular requirements, with more expensive hotels closer to the water and side streets offering budget hostels. You can also consider Hong Kong Island, which offers easy links to the mainland via its ferry and train lines. Chain hotels sit in the northern section of the island, where luxury and budget options remain available.
