  • It's actually made up of a number of big business markets, and selling is basically a store product, the higher the consumption, if it is the poor or the local culture of Hong Kong, is not suitable for the scene, it is worth noting that the exit of the Masters is often a feature of the placement, is a good place to take photos

  • Great city! Very easy for a Westerner to get around in. Many of the signs are in English, and the subway system is a breeze to use. Just get an "octopus" card, and you can travel the city with ease. Many good restaurants, and lots of shopping - both high end and bargain. Be sure to check out lady's market, the pearl district, and if you have time, the Big Buddha (take the glad bottom cable car, it's worth the little extra they charge).
  • Harbour City has been here since my childhood though it underwent major renovations and more up market on its shop brands, it must be one of the most visited place by locals and overseas visitors in Hong Kong. The entrance plaza near the five flag poles has occasional art installations which have been extremely successful in branding itself as a trendy mall. See photos for some of the past exhibitions.
  • Another mall full of expensive designer stores. This is also an older structure. Low ceilings, kind of a claustrophobic. Most restaurants r also below average. Especially stay away from the duck restaurant at the lower level by the pier. Cannot recommend it if ur a tourist. Ur better of going outside, walk on the streets and go to Nathan Rd. Definitely those will be more interesting than this mall.
  • One of the biggest shopping centre (mall) I've ever been to! You can seriously spend two days wondering around and still miss out on some parts. It's a nice, upscale place with everything you can think of for sale.
  • Really nice place and a good mall. We went there just to change our baby's diaper. The nursery room was so convenient and it is the best place.

Where to stay in Hong Kong

Head to Tsim Sha Tsui for the main tourist section of Hong Kong, where it's easy to find reasonably priced accommodations to suit your particular requirements, with more expensive hotels closer to the water and side streets offering budget hostels. You can also consider Hong Kong Island, which offers easy links to the mainland via its ferry and train lines. Chain hotels sit in the northern section of the island, where luxury and budget options remain available.
