Where to stay in Hong Kong

Head to Tsim Sha Tsui for the main tourist section of Hong Kong, where it's easy to find reasonably priced accommodations to suit your particular requirements, with more expensive hotels closer to the water and side streets offering budget hostels. You can also consider Hong Kong Island, which offers easy links to the mainland via its ferry and train lines. Chain hotels sit in the northern section of the island, where luxury and budget options remain available.

  • Great selection of luxury lifestyle goods. But be prepared to get a little lost in the maze within. It's probably a trap so you'll spend more time in the mall, thus increasing the chances that you'll spend some money in there.
  • Great mall, many shops and resto inside. Very nice view to the harbour especially at noon and night, we can see boats from the bridge. Many people taking picture from the bridge enjoying the beautiful view
  • Very big shopping mall. You can find fashion clothes and delicious food inside the building. Good place to go especially on rainy days.
  • Premier shopping mall with a brilliant view of the river. The viewing gallery indoors is now out of bounds due to residential flats, but the outside balcony has stunning views of the harbour and hk island. It's a huge maze, very easy to get lost. So many high and middle end brands plus good food courts from Starbucks and Pacific coffee to expensive western and Chinese foods. Lots of interesting floor displays for make up and cars.
  • More than 300 high end outlets, excellent for window shopping. The food court was also great with variety of meals -- price range $ - $$.
