Traditionally popular with locals, Fa Yuen Street Market has in recent years been discovered by tourists and travelers. It is well loved for its budget-friendly, high-quality goods and factory outlet stores selling Western fashion brands. A wide variety of stalls selling toys, electronics, watches, souvenirs, and even fresh fruit also sit on the market road. Check out the shops lining the streets behind the stalls, where many bargains can be found. The street also has excellent traditional Chinese food and seafood vendors. • Mixed market with clothes, bags, electronics, fruit. For modern clothing and shoes look right and left of the market. This is also where locals shop.
  • One of those iconic Hong Kong style street markets that you see in travel brochure. This one is not as touristy as Mongkok so it is a little more comfortable to look around if you are sensitive about your personal space. They have a wide range of popular items which are similar to most of the street market. Bargaining is part of the fun but beware of what you buy because some of the stalls are not very honest.
  • My go-to spot in Prince Edward, lots of cheap eats and you can buy all sorts of things here from umbrellas, to home goods, to cheap fashion, sport items etc, note that they are all super cheap, quality is so so but so worth the price you're paying.
  • This is truly a market for the locals and not for the tourists. The prices here are totally different from ladies market which is just a few streets a away.
  • Brought 2 pound of mangosteen. 8 of them, 7 are small, only 1 is big, differ by 30% in diameter, while 4 of 8 are spoiled. Conclusion: obvious cheated by the hawker, NEVER shop fruits there again.
