Traditionally popular with locals, Fa Yuen Street Market has in recent years been discovered by tourists and travelers. It is well loved for its budget-friendly, high-quality goods and factory outlet stores selling Western fashion brands. A wide variety of stalls selling toys, electronics, watches, souvenirs, and even fresh fruit also sit on the market road. Check out the shops lining the streets behind the stalls, where many bargains can be found. The street also has excellent traditional Chinese food and seafood vendors. • Best street market in HK. Locals shop here. Not so many tourists. The other street markets require you to haggle to get the best price... not here. You can bargain some but usually the price is close to what they sell for. Less hassle.. better quality stuff. Less crowds.
  • A localized open market, interesting for foreign tourists if they have never been to. Compare with the Lady's street, Fa Yuen Street is better off, no bargaining is needed as most of the sellers list the price. One thing has to be mentioned where is NO public washroom and the restaurants in there are cramped.
  • It's a great place to go to look for cheaper clothing. The area has been changed recently so it's not as cramped as it was before. Walking through the market is much more pleasant now. You can get a variety of things here from adult and kids clothes to fresh fruit. Prices here are fixed. Don't forget to look at the shops along the paths to find great deals on seconds.
  • It is not a mall with the regular shops that u see almost everywhere in the mall.it is made up of different shops that sells different things n at a cheap proceed clothes souvenirs shoes food fruits and there is a store that sells red bean patty .A must to try ! Long queue but fast n u would like it as it is so soft n a bit chewy but not oily at all.
  • The only best place for collectiable besides Richmond in entire HK. Rest sucks. Go Japan instead.
