Deep Water Bay, Hong Kong
(4.3/5 based on 45+ reviews on the web)
Away from the soaring skyscrapers of central Hong Kong sits Deep Water Bay, a vibrant beach town known for its exclusivity. The bay area houses some of the city’s wealthiest residents, earning it a reputation as the “world’s richest neighborhood.” Because of this, you'll find a pristine beach with a low number of visitors and few of the tourist trappings found on beaches nearby. Aside from rubbing shoulders with the some of the world’s financial elite, activities such as canoeing and hiking should keep everyone occupied. Make Deep Water Bay part of your personalized Hong Kong itinerary using our Hong Kong travel itinerary planner.

  • Stanley (red column) line bus and get off at deep water Bay Beach. Almost no tourists, local daily swimming in it most is the black man and woman. Like a beach not locker and there locker room shower (shampoo available), on the second floor on the first floor. Equipped with hairdryer. Restaurants are on the 3rd floor. This is the beautiful sea is enclosed by walls of water clarity, but swimming a fine wire mesh, not floating jellyfish and garbage are almost. Repulse Bay is said to be the most beautiful in the Hong Kong S.A.R. (shallow Bay) in the neighborhood but I absolutely dark local Sham Shui Bay school.
