  • When we know that this is the commercial scene of the activation and regeneration of the old Marine Police premises, I was amazed at the fact that there was a lot of wind during the day, good photos and good browsing.

  • Another beautiful area by the water. The shops are of course only ultra luxury goods so don't expect much in terms of going for shopping. But otherwise it is worth a visit for the photo opportunities. Christmas time decorating was also quite nice.
  • 1881 Heritage combines historical attractions with modern lifestyle. You can shop for international brands and enjoy fine dining while surrounded with traditional building in contemporer style. From the 1880 to 1996, this was the Headquarters of Hong Kong Marine Police. Nice to see that HK still maintaining their history for a part of their city development.
  • Touristic spot in Kowloon by the Pier. Must see. I always take the ferry boat from the island at sun down for a cheap boat ride and then walk through Pier 1881, having there a beer and then move on to the Peninsula Hotel or the Morton's steak house in the Sheraton 4th floor on Nathan road. Don't miss the island light show to be watched from the bar in the Sheraton
  • The place is awesome for sightseeing, instagrammable pictures and getting a dose of history and culture. You can also sip a nice cup of coffee while enjoying the panorama. I suggest you take pictures from rhe topmost place you can access.
  • I love this area. The historical building and view is amazing. Lots is happening here. Surrounding streets have very interesting shops and food.

Where to stay in Hong Kong

Head to Tsim Sha Tsui for the main tourist section of Hong Kong, where it's easy to find reasonably priced accommodations to suit your particular requirements, with more expensive hotels closer to the water and side streets offering budget hostels. You can also consider Hong Kong Island, which offers easy links to the mainland via its ferry and train lines. Chain hotels sit in the northern section of the island, where luxury and budget options remain available.
