  • I was living in Hong Kong 10 years ago when the "1881 Heritage" project was under construction. This historic old colonial naval base which stood decaying for years has been transformed into a luxury ...  more »
  • The predecessor is the Marine Police headquarters construction, fills the colonial color, the fusion Chinese and Western architecture language, is elegant and beautiful, very attractive. In the vicinity of Tsim Sha Tsui.

  • The predecessor is the Marine Police live it, changed into a shopping center, the brand is a high file, pearl watches and so on. Every year the Christmas will be beautiful, light decoration and large pendulum, is a good place to take pictures

  • At first I thought it was only a shopping mall with extravagant Christmas decoration. Then I decided to take a walk and I realized that this building is a historical building turned into shopping mall. There is a clock tower that you can go inside and see the harbor from the height. The architecture and the garden of this place also attracts couples to create wedding photos. In the other side you can also see cannons outside some very nice cafes. As for the shops, I saw high-end jewelry and watch stores, so unless you have lots of extra fund to spend, this is no place for you to shop.
  • This former Marine Police Headquarters Compound turned to be a shopping outlet is well designed and maintained. I was there during Christmas. So that's a plus. Good for people watching and coffee sipping in winter.
  • People are usually came to visit this place for photo shoot due to its unique design..and you can find famous brand shop here.
  • A lovely old restored building that now contains a number of upmarket shops and restaurants. There is also a lot of historic stuff to look at -really interesting.
  • This is a great place to see Hong Kong holiday displays. Shopping here is geared towards the well heeled so most people would just be looking. The bell tower has a very nice view despite not being very tall.

Where to stay in Hong Kong

Head to Tsim Sha Tsui for the main tourist section of Hong Kong, where it's easy to find reasonably priced accommodations to suit your particular requirements, with more expensive hotels closer to the water and side streets offering budget hostels. You can also consider Hong Kong Island, which offers easy links to the mainland via its ferry and train lines. Chain hotels sit in the northern section of the island, where luxury and budget options remain available.
