  • Absolutely love experience to see this area with large buildings built of ice blocks, in addition, there was one amazing ice sculpture after the other. We were there on the day in the sunshine and there were several places one could go in and get warm and a little edible. Take the good with the warm clothes on and take lots of pictures, because it's cold, says one doesn't and lingers for a long time by the various sculptures. You can take bus 29 from the bus station for only 2 yuan, or you can take a taxi for a lot more. It is very few, almost no one who can speak English, so it is a good idea to find the name in Chinese and have with the print to show people, in order to identify. Despite language difficulties we experienced the great helpfulness and we managed to always come forth

  • Tips: Go behind the child type huge snow sculpture and walk up the stair to the very top of the hill, it's an amazing view. Also, rather than taxi back I highly advise crossing by the river. It's cold...  more »
