Admire the colors and culture of Sophia Square, a public plaza known as the home of a large-scale orthodox church. Extending out in front of the 1912 Byzantine-style church, the square allows for investigation of the church's ornate exterior decoration and architectural idiosyncrasies, which stand in clear contrast to the other architecture around the square. The space itself also represents a popular meeting place for locals and tourists alike, hosting a range of food and souvenir stalls. Before you head to Harbin, plan trip itinerary details with our user-friendly Harbin tour planner, to make sure you see all that Harbin has to offer, including Sophia Square.
