Explore the mountains, water features, forests, and valleys of Seven Star Park (Qixing Gongyuan), a 120 hectare (297 acre) park that offers both natural and man-made points of interest. The arrangement of its seven main peaks resembles the Big Dipper constellation, and the wilder, more rugged areas feature craggy outcrops and mysterious caves. The park has also become known for its zoo, whose residents include giant pandas, camels, tigers, and birds. The river running through the park has a particularly scenic aspect to it; don't miss the historic bridge, dating back as far as the Song era (960-1279 CE). • With everything Guilin has to his around, spend a few hours in this park only makes sense if you're in the city of Guilin and don't know what to do. Middle Park, half zoo, half amusement park, middle market... There is a bit of everything and is considered one of the oldest tourist attractions in China, but it is not the best in the area.
