Breathe in the fresh air at Dafu Mountain Forest Park, only 3 km (1.86 mi) from Guangzhou city. Take a break in the forested park, popularly known as "the oxygen bar of the Panyu District." Full of artificial and natural lakes, the park offers plenty of recreational opportunities across 580 hectares (1,433 acres). Rent a bike at any entrance to cover greater ground, or have a picnic and simply enjoy the outdoors. With diverse vegetation, don't be surprised to see many exotic flowers and even palm trees. Sign posts make it easy to navigate the park. Expect crowds on weekends, and more peace during the week.
