Where to stay in Guangzhou

Guangzhou's commercial industries make it well-equipped to host visitors, though do book well ahead of time if traveling during the peak fall and spring trade fair rushes. The city's gleaming skyscrapers contain a number of the best four- and five-star hotels in Guangzhou, while others lie tucked away in historical European-style buildings. For budget-friendlier options, a number of youth hostels welcome a steady stream of international visitors, though most are located outside of the city center.

  • One of the best Cantonese ancestral hall in Guangzhou. Well designed and beautiful architecture in Cantonese style. Very decent. The transportation is very convenient for those who take metro. I were there for several times with different friends. It's a must to visit in Guangzhou.
  • Beautiful Cantonese-style building with great history. Definitely a must see, if you are in Guangzhou. Easy to access, the entrance fee is quite reasonable, and you can get a wonderful experience.
  • An architectural masterpiece with very rich, elaborate and countless artwork pieces. The rooms are filled with exhibits of prime Cantonese art, crafts and culture. Although the ivory section is very controversial. The exhibits are incredibly beautiful, but at what price?
  • A really amazing place to visit in Guangzhou. The place is a good representation of old chinese culture. Nice place to spend time with friends and family. Gift shops are pretty good. Some of the finest artworks that you can see. Hope you enjoy your time here! 😉
  • Beautiful examples of historical Chinese buildings. Entrance fee is 10 RMB for adults. There are many art displays as well as a few gift shops. Almost everything is for sale. We had chops (stone carved stamps) of our name made here. The gardens are beautiful. lots of bonsai trees. Worth a visit for about 1 to 2 hours.
