Baomo Scenery, Guangzhou

(120+ reviews on the web)
Historic Walking Area
Baomo Scenery contains waterfalls, small arched bridges, and flower gardens, but its most impressive attraction remains Qingming Festival by the Riverside, a huge inverted porcelain relief recognized as the world's longest brocade. The vast garden area also features distinct traditional architecture and garden arts--see brick, pottery, and porcelain sculptures scattered across the park accompanied by elegant stone and wood carvings. Feed koi fishes in the emerald green lakes embellished with lotus flowers. Stroll around the rose and orchid garden and wander through the magical Purple Bamboo Woods. The site is also home to a bronze statue of Confucius at the Treasure Pavilion. Put Baomo Scenery and other Guangzhou attractions into our Guangzhou tour planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • Visit jetog' place was not originally included in our plans, but to arrive in Guangzhou and not see the places with typical Chinese architecture was unreasonable. Examining reviewers experienced travelers, we chose this place. To garden and back we got public transportation. One stop on the Metro to Shiqiao (3-I'm an orange line) exit from Metro to right, literally 50 m bus stop , Pan, 67 to the end stop. Getting into the bus, we showed the driver name in Chinese, so were sure that the mini-van to the place without adventures. Road took approximately 30 minutes. The day on the way was quite freely. Buying tickets (two adult tickets and a teenager I paid 85 RMB). This place exceeded all our expectations. The Garden of Eden with traditional Chinese buildings, pagodas, pavilions, situated on the shore of a picturesque reservoir. Bridges and mostochki ties together all the parts of this site , about miniature waterfalls you can make magnificent pictures. Still at the entrance you can buy feed and feed gold fish (call them fish language is not rotated) them there very much. In the same way on the territory there are expositions of the works of Chinese artists (porcelain, sculptures, metalwork). a further visit to the wax museum. It is very pretty in depth of the garden is a magnificent rose garden and Lotus pond. You name it we conducted in this heavenly place for about three hours and left him in a splendid mood and with lots of stunning photos. By the way there are many Garden Café with traditional Chinese and European dishes. If you do not want to eat at the cafe, you can grab food and have a picnic in the shade of a beautiful garden.

more »
