Reputedly the best-preserved Buddhist temple in Fenghuang, this convent features impressive red walls with carved Kanji characters within yellow circles. Simple and compelling, its traditional-style murals by a hometown artist depict the core of the modern understanding of Buddhism, illustrating various stories from Buddha's life. The artist, who returned to Fenghuang at the age of 78 to devote himself to painting, also donated a sizeable collection of his bronze Buddha statues to the temple. • Love this place - captured a picture of a woman holding an umbrella (it was raining) washing her clothes at the side
  • It is not of the best attractions you can visit in Fenghuang, but with the high cost of entry would not visit it, and at the end and at the end they will always find something interesting in the buildings of Fenghuang. Avoid large crowds do not visit her in August.
