  • As a child I dreamed to travel here and to train. Then it was finally granted, but the mystical experience was. It is still impressive and new highlights in the processing and the ornaments you can discover every day. But by day tourism this place lost unfortunately the last point for me (you can get an image Putin with Vladimir).

  • We visited the Shaolin Temple and Kung Fu school as part of a 1-day CTrip tour from Xian. It took about an hour for our driver to get from the Longmen Grottoes to the Temple. You drive through some pr...  more »
  • In Lojan we arrived in three days, including in order to visit this monastery. The road to taxi took almost two hours one way and cost 400 Yuan and back. I think that it was possible to haggle, but it was not before. Entrance is worth 100 Yuan plus electric car 25 Yuan in both sides. In addition you have to pay separately for the show and the rise of the cable car to the mountain Sun. In General, the trip cost is not cheap, however. The location of the monastery is very scenic, autumn-auspicious time to visit because of the weather and beautiful vegetation at this time. The monastery itself is very beautiful, sacred to Buddhists and martial arts enthusiasts. But unfortunately, it was destroyed in the year 1928 and although was restored, but lost many historic artifacts. Another problem is the commercialization of this place that really catches your eye and erases the spirit of Holiness of the monastery. In General, visit Shaolin very desirable but expensive.

  • This was originally a place of meditation, but with daily crowds, that's now difficult. Still a place everyone should visit though, as part of a trip to the Shaolin Temple.

  • Temple Dharma-Dong, daruma Daishi India spreading Zen to China nine years towards the wall meditation that is wrong is the location on the map. Position of the true Dharma-dong in the first Hermitage in the back to back up the mountain from here two hours, located a little below the Summit. Please note from the first Hermitage which is followed by steep stairs. This map is Shaolin Temple where it seems.

  • 其實沒什麼參觀價值,門票又貴,跟其他寺廟的格局大同小異,建議在門口拍照留念完就可以走了
