  • Really amazing caves Dazu Baoding. Just as beautiful as the site of Beishan, but these have more charm. First for the forest that surrounds them and the location. Are caves that surround the religion Buddhist, Taoist and Confucian. A mix of sculptures and most colori...in most are really in very good condition, with shapes and colours completely sharp. Negatives: the reclining Buddha is closed for renovation. The Buddha from 1004 arms was restored with a deep gold brushstrokes that cover the entire sculpture. Just go, you don't know if it is the original or a reproduction made last week. The rest is all amazing! The Park is very large and takes long walks (if there are golf carts), at the exit of the cave, always inside the Park, there is a temple very cute and Nice. The free Museum is really nicely done, great split level and full of artifacts and photographs. If you are a lover of history and culture, this is a site, along Beishan, not to be missed! For logistical difficulties in reaching these areas, there isn't much tourism and you can enjoy the nature, the caves and the mystical atmosphere that these places offer
