Detian Waterfall, Daxin County

Categories: Waterfalls, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.6/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web
Asia's largest cross-border waterfall, Detian Waterfall tumbles down over three terraces divided by rocks and trees as it drops 30 m (98 ft). Walk up a scenic pathway that provides views of the waterfall from different angles; as you get closer to the top and the Vietnamese border, you’ll come across a market packed with little stalls. Go straight up the stairs to the boundary river between China and Vietnam, where three layers of viewing decks offer a closer view of the falls thundering down. If you don’t mind waiting in line, take a bamboo raft tour across the river. Occasionally, you can hear local anglers singing folk songs while they fish in a deep pool below the waterfall. By using our Daxin County family vacation planner, you can arrange your visit to Detian Waterfall and other attractions in Daxin County.
