Labor Park, Dalian

3.9
#8 of 51 in Parks in Dalian
Arranged around a huge lawn dotted with over 300,000 flowers, Labor Park features an amusement area, a lotus pond, a peacock farm, and an observation tower. Stroll around the park, rent a boat and pedal around a small lake, ride a Ferris wheel, and finally hike up the hill and climb the TV tower for panoramic views of the city. Notice the large red-and-white soccer ball that recognizes Dalian as a sports town. If you get hungry, look for food stalls selling lamb kebabs and chicken wings. • How it struck me that the friends-the Chinese were able to keep the area a picturesque and even places of rare nature right in the heart of the lively metropolis! Lotus Lake, beautiful flowerbeds, trees ... In the shade of these trees you can find pleasant coolness on a sunny day and enjoy the noise of leaves (that's fun in Dalian rare because the streets are very lively and lots of machines, everything is constantly beeping, so they missed). An interesting fact is that in the mornings and evenings mature Chinese gather on the lawns in groups and engage in gymnastics (flexible joints-the basis of longevity, or so they say). If you want to join them, they will not be against, and will not even glance reproachfully-they still (retrieved =)) funny kids years 4-5 draw on asphalt large tassels ierolify. This they train in spelling (draw water, then it dries). If you have blonde hair or skin, the residents will ask to be photographed with you "good luck". Also recommend a visit to the cableway up to the tower and take a look at the city from a bird's-eye view.
