A series of 19 snow-capped peaks, all standing over 3,500 m (11,483 ft) elevation, combined with cool mountain streams attract visitors year-round to Dali Cang Mountain. Hike the paved walkways or take a cable car ride, either of which offers you excellent views spreading across the fertile valley, lush hills, and peaks surrounding you. Besides the crystal clear streams, admire lakes at 3,800 m (12,467 ft) altitude, reflecting the mountain surroundings. Explore the historical and cultural relics of the local Bai people and see three pagodas, as well as Inaction Temple, Zhonghe Temple, and many more. Bring your own food and drinks, as this natural oasis has no restaurants.
