Dali Cang Mountain, Dali

4.5
#4 of 10 in Parks in Dali
A series of 19 snow-capped peaks, all standing over 3,500 m (11,483 ft) elevation, combined with cool mountain streams attract visitors year-round to Dali Cang Mountain. Hike the paved walkways or take a cable car ride, either of which offers you excellent views spreading across the fertile valley, lush hills, and peaks surrounding you. Besides the crystal clear streams, admire lakes at 3,800 m (12,467 ft) altitude, reflecting the mountain surroundings. Explore the historical and cultural relics of the local Bai people and see three pagodas, as well as Inaction Temple, Zhonghe Temple, and many more. Bring your own food and drinks, as this natural oasis has no restaurants. We take the cable car up the mountain in cloudy weather, panoramic view of erhai Lake in Dali of emerge, beautiful scenery! Cable cars continue to rise into the clouds that are all white. Cable car arrived at 3900 meters above sea level, walk 1.2 km of the cliff at 3966 meters high. This section of the road, got altitude sickness is not difficult, but it's not easy. September mountain weather is unpredictable, and low temperatures to coat, raincoat or umbrella, it didn't rain down the Hill, there are rain from time to time on the Hill, the clouds suddenly thick suddenly gone. We only have half the day, Hill is taking the cable car, not mountain hiking. Small stroll a bit after the mountain movie, ordinary. Paid 30 Yuan for a taxi back to Dali, if one car will be cheaper.
