Categories: Architectural Buildings, Landmarks, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
3.6/5 based on 80+ reviews on the web
Taking inspiration from the architectural flair of both the Ming and Qing dynasties, People's Assembly Hall stands 55 m (180 ft) high, topped with a three-tiered jade dome. Completed in 1954, the grandiose auditorium was commissioned to accommodate both domestic and foreign guests. Take a stroll around the picturesque paved grounds, furnished by abundant trees, shrubs, and flowerbeds. If the weather permits, consider breaking for a picnic and some people-watching. At night vibrant light illuminates the hall. • Constructed the Hall for meetings of politicians. Everything kind of nicely, gamma followed. But worth a go behind the building, poverty, obšarponost′. Even inside is not visited, as it is written in the Internet, the building generally made out of wood to reduce the cost of construction. Nothing groundbreaking in terms of history were noticed.
