Jinli Pedestrian Street, Chengdu
(3.7/5 based on 1,800+ reviews on the web)
Jinli Pedestrian Street runs along buildings constructed during the Qing Dynasty rule and maintains many traditional folk customs. Renovated in 2004 in the Three Kingdoms theme, the 550 m (1800 ft) long street receives approximately 18 million visitors per year. Visit the surrounding tea houses, hotels, and stores architecturally modelled to preserve the ancient charm. You can also shop for a wide range of lacquer products, embroideries, curios, calligraphies, and handicrafts displayed in many local shops and stalls. You can also find many modern cafes, restaurants, and bars, which blend in with the Old Town esthetics. Plan your visit to Jinli Pedestrian Street and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Chengdu vacation builder.

  • With my husband, we had the great opportunity of being in some cities in China, clear that still so great we need much to know. After being in Shanghai, Beijing and Xi'an m, I can say that Chengdu has more Eastern culture than the others, the essence of China can live it more in this area of China. This street is an example of this, around you can find many houses of tea, typical shops, fans, etc. Worth walking along this street, usually things close around 9 pm, at least close to the dates that we visited.

  • We had this place in April 2016 onwards. Is it worth visiting this place-definitely Yes. What time is uniquely when it gets dark. Whether there to buy souvenirs and gifts-I think not only if you have limited time (as we have). Street itself is a stylized and decorated with antique system of streets on which to walk in the evening. Here you will find a bunch of shops, cafes and restaurants, which often live music (I liked). As is clear from my words is a modern replica. Hence I recommend motorikshe to drive away a symbol of the city-the bridge over the river. This bridge by the way too new, although not many know about it. You can read in more detail in my report when searching by phrase through Yandex-China Leshan alone.
