  • There are many different paths to explore, some very nice tea houses next to pretty ponds and the walk along the wall was fun.
  • What do you do in Changshu at the weekend? A walk around the YuShan is a possibility. My starting point was the YuShan hotel, near the FangTa Pedestrial zone. Opposite, it went through the public park across a stairway up to an old city gate. From there, follow the street. With the exception of a few thousand Chinese, it is almost alone on the road. Past a cemetery and tea plantations continues ever upwards. Old Dominion seats can be visited. Earlier it is possible against entry to visit an impressive viewpoint (lift tickets). Here offers a free view on the South Lake. Because many locals turn around, it is clearly a quiet later. At the western end of the YuShan walking through a stunning bamboo forest, until it is possible at the end of the street, right to terminate the tour or like me to go left through a gate in an another Park. Here is also to pay admission, unless, you have still already mentioned ticket from the vantage point, this is also valid. This Park is definitely worth a visit! Beautiful temples, very extensive and varied. A bus stop is located at the other end of the Park. From there, you come back up to the starting point for little money. Again and again, you find sell tofu or fruit dealer, the drinks. I was with a colleague and it took us 5 hours at a relaxed pace. Definitely recommended!

  • I went to this park with two local friends, think well. But you have to get up early to get a walk.
