Orange Island Park, Changsha
(3.9/5 based on 240+ reviews on the web)
Take a break at Orange Island Park, a long, narrow island in the river offering a number of cultural and natural attractions. Historically known for its orange trees, a statue of Mao Zedong's head dominates much of the island these days, though you'll find an area of cultivated land in the middle of the island where the fruit trees still grow. A number of viewing pavilions allow for the observation of the river as it runs by, while two beaches provide a good amount of space for relaxation and recreation, including swimming.
