Changsha Window of the World, Changsha

3.5
At Changsha Window of the World it’s possible to visit the Sydney Opera House, Angkor Wat, and Mount Fuji all in the same day. Well, approximations anyway, as this theme park, which sits on the banks of the Liuyang River, has 50 reproductions of famous tourist attractions from all over the world. Admiring Mount Rushmore and posing outside the Louvre, are just a few of the experiences to recreate among the 120 miniature attractions dotting the 40 hectare (98 acre) park. Although the attraction replicas remain the main attraction, rollercoasters, bungee jumping, and a water-area serve up higher-octane thrills. More relaxing options include the peacock garden and song-and-dance performances. A visit to Changsha Window of the World represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Changsha travel route planner to plot your vacation.

  • several times. The window of the world is not in the city, there are often activities and performances, thin students can benefit. There's a lot of micro-view, it's probably going to take a day.

  • High cost of window on the world, college student card need only 300 bucks you can handle success, can also go to the water park play in the water, it's great ~ often come, complete equipment, the environment is also very good. Because the family lived nearby, so I came to easily, this traffic is good ~

  • Although not a perfect place and quite old, it’s a great place to pay a visit during the trip to Changsha. They have some great places for photo shooting and rides together with food stalls. The main set back is that they don’t speak English and the foods are not tolerable for foreigners like us. But overall, it was quite a nice visit.
  • Beautiful theme park with very accurate reproductions of world famous monuments. Very nice cultural show in evening. Don't miss to see the beautiful Chinese girl dressed as Chinese traditional wedding girl. Thanks to Ms Zheng Hao who took me to this beautiful place during my visit to Changsha. Must go during visit to Changsha.

Where to stay in Changsha

The modern city of Changsha, the provincial capital, has plenty of accommodations to choose from. Primarily located to the east of the river, the places to stay here include high-rise luxury hotels, simple guesthouses, hostels, and rental apartments. Wuyi Avenue, along which the metro runs, represents a good place to look for accommodations, with this arterial road leading east from the downtown area to a major train station. North and south of this arterial road, towering luxury hotels sit in clusters of new developments, with malls, restaurants, and offices nearby, while more budget-friendly options sit on residential side streets.
