  • A lot of people only at the beginning, near the entrance. Farther than smaller people. If at the beginning of many descents from the wall to the entrance, then on their becoming smaller. On the wall you can get carried away and go far and long to look for a way out.

  • The walk on this part of the wall is a must for the visitors escaping the crowds. It is a challenging walk but well worth with amazing views of this ancient monument of the human endurance.
  • Myself and my good mate booking this through the hotel we were staying at in Beijing. We were a little skeptical about the "secret" bit - but as it turned out we were the only tourists on the Wall when we did the tour. It was great fun + amazing scenery + we had a cute older Chinese lady who was less than 5 feet tall guiding us. The bonus at the top was an old guy selling cheap beer off a small table. There is no tourist trap here - which was refreshing.
  • Great place one of worlds top attractions. Be prepared, lots of people, complete lack of organization. You have to push and expect to be pushed. Towers with two gates, everyone goes as he pleases, no signs "way in" and "way out". Though, highly recommended.
  • Compared to mutiyattiv this is very very crowded.. please please avoid saturdays and holidays...
  • Amazing feat of construction. The views from sourh wall are great. We arrived in time for 730 opening to beat the heat and crowds. Some very steep sections; wear good shoes!
  • Too much people. Better go early, before opening. Views are nice, Great Wall is a place to know.
