Wangfujing Mall(Wangfujing Street), Beijing

Categories: Shopping, Shopping Malls

3.3/5 based on 85+ reviews on the web
A lively and bustling complex, Wangfujing Mall(Wangfujing Street) has a reputation as the place to go for some unusual culinary treats. On top of large malls, boutiques, and arts and craft stores, another big draw here is the snack street. Here you'll find stalls peddling a variety of deep-fried creatures that most would consider frightening or repulsive. Served on sticks like lollipops, you can try tarantulas, scorpions, and sea horses (to name a few). Even not-so-intrepid explorers will find the mall interesting, if only as an entertaining display of how vastly food cultures can differ across the globe.
