Olympic Forest Park, Beijing

Categories: Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.3/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web
Constructed ahead of the 2008 Beijing Olympics and covering 680 hectares (1,680 acres), Olympic Forest Park offers an abundance of walking and jogging routes and a lake containing small islands which are linked by bridges. A few small carnival-style rides entertain young children, and the man-made hill in the north corner of the park offers views of the lake to the south (said to be a great example of Feng Shui design). The park becomes particularly busy around weekends and holidays, so either join the crowds and start exploring, or head here for sunset or during the week for a more tranquil experience. • Taken the admission fee at the entrance, continue walking down the street one after a while. It was so vast, unobstructed and spacious parks. On the way in and some souvenir shops, then no others like this. Walk for 10 minutes and finally see the bird's nest Stadium.

  • It is a large park adjacent to the Beijing Olympic bird's nest. It is perfect for exploring. Think green, air is relatively clean. From the city centre can be reached by Metro.

  • Beijing Olympic Park is just huge. If you go here, consisting of trips, you just don't see. You can take the time to visit the attractions individually, so much so that you can take the underground. This Park has its own special Olympic atmosphere.
