  • Nanluoguxiang-just our visit to the drum tower and the Bell Tower and headed to this street famous for being an area renovated within the hutongs (alleys). Your restoration or rather reconstruction, has lasted about ten years. It runs from North to South. Is less than 1 km of long and 16 hutongs that the cross at right angles. With a history of more than 700 years, Nanluoguxiang is an of the areas of hutongs more ancient of the capital china. After its refurbishment, it is full of small shops full of whims, souvenirs, bags, scarves and other items that attract visitors. Bars, restaurants, trinkets and food stalls fill the sidewalks. I forgot to say that it is pedestrian. They called me a lot attention two terraces of Café or restaurant located on the roof of two houses, with their umbrellas, putting a point of occidentalidad in this district. If not we move into any of the perpendicular that I have mentioned above, we have traditional hutongs, are preserved as-is and that even though say they are wonderful, I think because they were clean and care they wouldn't be losing its uniqueness and whether they would gain in quality of life, those who live in them. Visit recommended.

  • I have always loved this place, all time favourite. Hmmmmm.... But now it's become way toooooooo commercial. Used to be a tucked away alley with many unique boutiques and cafes, and owners were often do chatty that you can easily spend an afternoon chatting about life Now it's inside-out tourist destination/street food galore! 😢
  • Good tourist spot, with many innovative products.
  • When you walk down the streets, you will see almost everywhere dotted with plants and ancient houses.
  • This is a tourist Mecca, very crowded, but a great buzz and plenty of places to eat / shop. Don't expect an 'authentic' Hutong experience but nevertheless a great place to visit.
  • Very touristic place, but also show the traditional view of Beijing
