Huairou Xiangshuihu Great Wall Scenic Resort, Beijing

(160+ reviews on the web)
Wildlife Area
A relatively unexplored and newly restored section of the Great Wall, Huairou Xiangshuihu Great Wall Scenic Resort gives you an opportunity to see the engineering marvel at your own leisure. Looking like a hump of a giant dragon, the wall meanders across a range of hills. At the end of a scenic hike--taking you along some steep climbs and past a waterfall--you'll get magnificent views close to the entrance and the ticket booth. While on this solid defensive structure, you can see some of the wall's rostrums, and even Beijing on a clear day. Due to irregularity of public transport and lack of English-language signs, consider taking a cab ride to the location and hiring a guide. Plan to see Huairou Xiangshuihu Great Wall Scenic Resort and other attractions that appeal to you using our Beijing trip builder.
