Overlooking the west side of a huge square, Great Hall of the People (Renmin Dahuitang) serves as a meeting place of the government and China's communist party. Mao Zedong dedicated the building to the people, the true rulers of the country according to the communist principle. Built by thousands of volunteers in 1959, the building features an auditorium with 10,000 seats, a banquet hall that can entertain 7,000 guests, and reception halls for each of China's provinces. • Great Hall of the people and a restaurant inside the building. The scale of the whole grandeur and so Hall, luxury of extremes. People's Republic of China playing traditional music, the marching band is also good. People's Republic of China being the Orthodox way, serving food on the whole was admirable.

  • People's great Hall is a building located in the people's Republic of China, Beijing, Tiananmen Square Park West. It is used as used as an Assembly Hall and greet the guests from foreign countries. Very solidly built buildings and felt a profound sense of. This is well known in the national people's Congress will be held. There are Chinese Communist Party meeting once every five years.

  • Because of the Palace Museum, the People's Congress are very close to each other. So after the palace and the same day, I went to the people's Hall because we can only look at it, so we take a picture outside the door.

  • The Chinese government building. A very nice building that shows the power of the country in the architecture. They offer tours of the buildings and it is well worth it. You can see many of the committee rooms for each province in which each room is uniquely designed to that specific province.
  • Where is Liu Xia? Wife of Noble Prize Winner Liu Xiaobo.
  • Pretty great, as the name would suggest
