At the foot of Western Mountains rests Fragrant Hills Park (Xiangshan Gongyuan), an imperial garden consisting of maple, smoke, persimmon, and pine cypress trees. Built in 1186, the urban park shelters traditional architecture and many cultural relics scattered over an area of 160 hectares (395 acres). Explore the natural and historic sites--such as monasteries, pagodas, villas, lakes, and plants--by taking one of two main routes through the park. • 2016 to go, the red leaves are not imagined that so, but the door of a few ginkgo trees grow very good, the leaves are very beautiful. There are more trees on the mountain, which is very suitable for outing and hiking.

  • So you can see the fall foliage in the Park in October is very busy. And opening of new subway would more accessible. Unlike the Jingshan Park is a suburb here, but can enjoy nature in the big cities.

  • Sunday to go, a little around, in order to enjoy the autumn leaves, the result, autumn leaves are almost gone, but there are still a lot of people, to the ticket door there is only one road, not only pedestrians, but also the passing of vehicles, heard that the beginning of November more people, fortunately in the near end of the time to go once, to appreciate the autumn Hayama is very cold, suggest to wear more points, Or you can freeze to death in a cable car.

  • A wonderful park with terrific views of the Beijing area. BUT, do NOT come here on a sunny Saturday, unless you like to deal with a two-mile traffic backup, and wading through crowds of thousands just to get to the entrance gate. We biked here, which is definitely recommended, as I have no idea where you would park. Walk in the hills above the official park (you have to go through a gate, but no entrance fee is required). A weekday visit is pleasant and less stressful (though again, avoid a visit during any of the national holidays for the same reason as during a weekend).
  • Nice...no view of Beijing if there is smog... crowded
  • Insane stair climb. Beautiful park, not crowded. The cable car is a bit expensive. 80rmb for adults, 20 for children including infants, and that is just one way.
  • Beautiful place
  • Used to take children to play in the park, but also from the glasses Lake 17 minutes to climb incense Burner peak.
