  • Once you actually find it, it is worth a visit. Nearby jewellery and art centres also worth a quick visit too. Has some amazing bells and is currently working on improving the information and exhibits...  more »

  • It's a 850 meter walk (10 min) from exit A of the Dazhongsi metro station on line 13. I thought I was going to see a temple, but this is a museum about bells set in the Buddhist Jue Sheng Temple. This is not an active temple with incense burning or worshipers. It's completely converted to a museum. The museum feels newly renovated. All the exhibit rooms are refreshed or new. The indoor exhibits are beautifully arranged and displayed with English signs with good detail. There's history on casting bells. There's also a small scale model scene of casting large bells in ancient times. This included hologram images of animated actors. These images really enhanced the dullness of the model. An outdoor courtyard has a graveyard of old bells. So cool. The entrance ticket includes admittance to the temple. On Wednesdays, the first 200 visitors are free. Otherwise 20 RMB for adults.
  • Good place for two hours. A lot of bells. If someone likes bells, should go there for sure.
  • Also called dera, remember. Bell Museum, exhibits many of the old Summer Palace. Interesting look at the one side surface of the Bell in kanji; Exhibits of the Bell of the West and Japan, as well as Chinese bells and Museum like that. Taxi 13, big Bell Temple Station North third ring along with about 600 m West.

  • Museum of bells. It is worth visiting the Museum to compare the dimensions of some bells. Additionally, you can purchase some fakes that are on the market for tourists several times cheaper than here
