  • 2 where is the Beijing Railway Museum, East suburbs hotel is located in Chaoyang District, morning. Other remains of old Beijing, Yang East station in front of the Gate district, has become a Museum (exhibition of real vehicles are not only the Panel). Eastern suburbs Hotel expositions SL and DL, EL, a passenger, was overwhelmed. Is the point of railway fans. Exhibition vehicle line crammed aligned side by side on a, the description is only one simple thing. Inside you can see exhibits for VIP private passenger cars (it is said that public service vehicles), is included. There is sleeping room with Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai. Outlook Express was running between Busan and Beijing before World War II, "the continent" also were on display. The pattern was used before and after the official car.

  • China has moved in, and well connected by railway in general are understood. At the South of Tiananmen Square, the forbidden city and is on the opposite side is a small museum, now knowing the history of the world's leading train large country on very useful. China launched to coincide with Japan, but conservation of the SL's rail being rolled in the power struggle between the great powers from the early part of the 20th century has been steadily expanding route through postwar China people's Republic era is especially interesting. You can feel the passion to train Chinese Government and railway officials. In some places, day "Asia number one" including timetables small new South Manchuria railway Keio 醳 (now Changchun). Japan bullet train officials, is the latest Chinese high iron (≈ Shinkansen bullet train) they may seem in character development is emphasized in the exhibition, basic is a fairly serious Museum. However without much amusement and, I'm sure tired of children. Admission is 20 Yuan, over 60 years old are free. 3rd floor and exit near the Museum Shop is.

  • Not easy to get there, but worth the effort with about 40 diesel engines and the same number of steam engines in various conditions - also some goods and passenger carriages, some historical. Some descriptions in English but some faded and unreadable. 4 stars. Recommended is the visit of the other railway museum behind Tiananmen Square in town.
  • 路过,从地图看还挺不错
