  • Few people know the importance of these fields in terms of ecological balance, and flora/fauna that lives there, and should be protected by law. To not invade, I recommend only climb the highest Dune, where have rentadores of tables (for sand-surf) been installed. The view from the top is beautiful, towards the sea and the city of Concon.

  • The dunes are very high and in some places seem to be in the desert. 20 palaces and homes, even luxury, are an abomination of which probably will repent between some twenty years. However, the contrast between the buildings, the dunes and the ocean is very impressive. I'd say the ideal time and afternoon from 17 onwards. We hopped from the palaces of Con Con, path little known and very nice, and then following the Ridge we got to the top, where they climb almost all starting to supermarket Lider, where also stops the bus 602, just under an hour from Valparaiso. The sand is hot, best slippers or sandals to avoid filling the shoes of sand.

  • Very nice to spend some time in the afternoon making sandboarding and enjoying the ocean view. Requires effort go up but it's worth it.

  • At the bottom you can rent really chip sandboards and go sand boarding. Be prepared to get dirty, full of send, and climb up the hill... You'll have a great time! :)
  • Nice views of the ocean and surrounding town. I went after new years, so I hope/assume it's usually cleaner. Sandboarding is cheep and fun! But don't forget to grab some wax for the board.
  • It offers a very good view of the ocean. You can do quite some activities like sand boarding (equipment available for hire on spot) of you like. The place is often quite windy with a lot of sand blowing, so maybe something to protect the eyes will make be helpful.
  • Good time in family
  • Amazing place to watch the sunset over the sea and do some really cheap sandboarding. Pretty amazing!
