Art Museum Museum
View a collection of artwork housed in another work of art when you visit Palacio Baburizza. Many travelers go to the museum for the art but praise the architecture and craftsmanship of the building as the greatest attraction. The building was built by Italian architects and features great details in the woodwork and wrought iron. Within the building, you can tour art displays primarily of paintings and sculptures from local and international artists. Expect to see pieces from artists like Juan Francisco Gonzalez, Pedro Lira, and Alfredo Valenzuela Puelma. Where to stay in Valparaiso

Since its inscription on the World Heritage List in 2002, Valparaiso tourism has experienced a meteoric rise. The city now offers a wide range of accommodations, especially budget hostels and mid-range hotels and inns. Cerro Alegre, a hill just to the west of the city center, offers perhaps the largest range of options and looks out over the bustling port. Stay in the friendly neighborhood of Cerro Concepcion to enjoy the best of Valparaiso's cafe culture.
