Head to Plaza Sotomayer to see Navy Building, a grand, finely preserved French neoclassical building tastefully painted pastel blue with white highlights. The building dominates the plaza, stretching over the entire foreground of the square. It stands 5 stories tall and each level features a lavishly decorated interior, although inside access is prohibited. The building serves as the administration headquarters of the Commander in Chief of the Chilean Navy.   • The building of the first naval zone, should be of the more Valparaiso, this beautiful located in plaza Sotomayor, at the end of the Esplanade, very close to Pier Prats and monument heroes of Iquique, also is close to the Ministry of culture in the old post office building, is a very good walk, which can be watching and taking pictures.
