  • In a country with so much sea there are thousand stories that can be counted, as for example the Duke of Windsor, by visiting the battleship Latorre at the beginning of the last century. In the Museum there is a huge scale model of the ship and many objects related to that make it interesting to visit this room.

  • The Museum with many things to see that one can be a whole afternoon there, could present problems of access due to the stairs that climb to get.

  • Was the only museum that I visited on my trip to Chile, just because I'd like to see the replica of the Fenix (capsule that rescued the 33 Chileans). I found the very interesting collection, but I confess I could look just a few rooms on the ground floor, because my allergies don't allowed me to continue. Worth the visit!

  • Good place to spend 20 - 30 minutes and learn some interesting facts about Chile naval development. Admission was 1000 per person (Dec., 2016)
  • Great place to go with the children know the story of the Chilean Navy. Several lounges with many interesting parts, a cute and nice garden with a coffee shop. One of the attractions is the capsule in which the Chilean miners were rescued. Well worth visiting.

  • The visit to this Museum provides a great opportunity to know the history of Chile, in addition to providing contact with sea mines, torpedoes, guns used in naval combat. Is still exhibited in the Museo the capsule used to rescue the miners trapped in the mine in 2010. Are exposed drawings recording passage of Charles Darwin by the Chilean coast, where the image portrays the vessel Beagles, where Darwin traveled.
