Ascensor Reina Victoria, Valparaiso

(4.5/5 based on 650+ reviews on the web)
Ride comfortably on Ascensor Reina Victoria, a funicular railway declared a historical monument in 1998. Opened over a hundred years ago, the hillside elevator was named in honor of Queen Vitoria, the long-reigning British monarch who died in 1901. Works of public art decorate the line's stations, while the summit offers fine views of the adjacent hills. • Lift that you lower the plan after the tour and thanks for the friendly and economic. Should clean the huge amount of garbage that is looks down when one arrives to the descend of the truck. That breaks the magic.

  • We went to the Reina Victoria Lift which is kind of an inclined plane that serves basically as transportation from uptown to downtown. The view is quite nice and cheap price.

  • Valparaiso classic elevator. One of the 8 that are in operation today. You must pay with cash.

  • It's very cheap and it spends 2 minutes, if you don't want to go up by foot, it's a good choice and a great experience in a 100 yo elevator!
  • It's quick and cheap. It will also save you time and energy. Cost is $100 for one way, very cheap.
  • Best funicular in town
  • Good service. Beautiful surroundings, especially the square in front of the arrival at Uptown station.
