Ascensor Artilleria has been transporting visitors to a lookout for views of the city and the bay for over 100 years. This funicular is one of 16 that run from the city to the top of Artilleria hill. First operational in 1893, this centuries-old funicular is a historic landmark in the city, giving visitors a feel for the area’s history. Take the 80-second ride up to the top to take advantage of the views of ships in the harbor. At the top, stalls selling crafts and souvenirs let you do some shopping with a view. É como o funicular do Cerro San Cristobal, porém em um vagão fechado. Somente pagamos depois de subir. O tempo de subida é muito rápido. Na volta, preferimos descer pelos morros.It's like the funicular of Cerro San Cristobal, however in a boxcar. Only pay after climbing. The ramp time is very fast.
