  • The Huáscar is located at the end of the coastal sector of Talcahuano, in premises controlled by the Chilean Navy, you must pay the entrance fee and walk 200 m to access Pier. There by a raft access you boat and these around 30-45 minutes, it is interesting to know this historical monument which marked a key period of Chile. You city in the upper and inner part all decorated and recreated in the period of war. Very interesting, forced to meet you in your visit to the city...

  • Excellent Museum, one of two afloat in the world. You can learn about milestones of the navies of Chile and the Peru and two gentlemen giants of the sea; Miguel Grau and Arturo Prat. If you visit, go to any member of the crew of the R.H.Huascar, are extremely gentle and always willing to share historical information of the vessel, which is a lot. This is because that the visit to the ship does guided by the Museum. Enjoy it.

  • Beautiful place. Highly recommended
  • Such an old Peruvian battleship captured by Chilean navy in the 1800's, actually is a beautiful museum that commemorates the Iquique naval battle and the internationally acknowledged heroism of Captain Arturo Prat and his men who died at the main deck during battle, a "must to visit" being in Talcahuano
