Sample some of Chile's best-loved wines at Vina Undurraga, a renowned producer of quality reds since it was founded by Don Francisco Undurraga Vicuna in 1885. Take a tour of the winery to learn about the wine-making process, which maintains many of the traditions begun more than a century ago. Choose between tours in English, Spanish, or Portuguese. Consider reserving the tour plus picnic option, which includes an al fresco lunch on the vineyard's well-kept grounds. We got super easy, the bus we picked up at central station leave us in front of the winery. As we arrived much earlier, we can make the ride a time before. The ride is very pleasant wine and gardens and parrerais. The guide explains well how is the production and at the end we have a 4 tasting delicious wines. A white, two reds and a late harvest. And still take the souvenir Cup. Super recommended. It costs 12000 pesos. It's not worth it to go there, super quiet tour to take the subway and buses and a lot cheaper!

Even better!! Charismatic (he jokes that is a relative of Saint Augustine of the big family Carrara), will explain the production of wines of vinicola restaurant with a lot of humor but very knowledgeable!! We left delighted!! In our 4 types of Sibaris tour wines, and we had the privilege of doing well at the time that the grapes were ripe in bunches, so that we could sample the grapes too! A delight to ride!!!

Pleasant surprise! The guide whose name was Augustine Carrara (only with this tip you realize how fun it was) held the Tour in Spanish (language selected at the time of booking) however the Brazilians who have no language can understand. He was always in a good mood, with patience and a good mood. The tasting is done with 4 wines (excellent) with water, crackers and deposits for the tourist if you don't like the wine, be at ease in emptying your Cup. During the tour the guide offers the own grape for wine tasting and interesting information This is a wonderful visit!
Fantastic vineyard and fantastic tours of the property. Learned so much about the wine making process and the local history on wine making. The tour ended in a tasting of four different wines, all of which were excellent. That we were able to keep our tasting glasses for souvenirs was nice added bonus. Did the tour in English and the guide David was great. Very knowledgeable and great in explaining all and answering any questions.
What a wonderful way to spend half a day if you are staying in Santiago. There are many tours offered here, but you can organize a trip without using a tour agency. If you inquire directly with Undurraga, they will tell you how to take public transit directly to their doorstep. Final cost from Santiago was less than $3000/person plus $12000 for the tour. The tour includes a great tasting at the end and a souvenir glass. The staff, especially the guide, was fantastic.
Very nice tour around de vineyards, excellent explanation and history, the staff was very nice and friendly, the wines tasted were awesome, specially the "Carmenere" and the "Late Harvest" the last one having a wonderful passion fruit flavour. I highly recommend this place for groups and couples.
Love the winetasting it was very informative and the wines tasted pretty good
Amazing vineyard with a very nice garden. The English tour took 1 hour and 15 min, cost 11,000 pesos per person, and the tour guide was competent and friendly. There were 3 wines to taste afterwards, including high quality examples. Overall impression was very clean and well-maintained vineyard with much more to do than just drink good wines.
