(2.8/5 based on 1,400+ reviews on the web)
At Zoologico Nacional de Chile you can see animals from all over the world without leaving the heart of Santiago. The zoo houses exotic creatures from all corners of the globe, such as elephants, zebras, leopards, and even kangaroos. Catch the funicular up the hill to reach the zoo, where you'll have to buy a separate entrance ticket. Impassioned animal lovers might feel that many of the larger creatures are kept in inappropriate, undersized enclosures. • It is located in the cerro San Cristóbal. You can enter on foot, but you can also take the funicular. The entrance is comfortable and there is diversity of animals and much to do. I liked the area where are the birds, because they in contact with their habitat.

  • The Zoo is finding in the Cerro de San Cristovan. Due to the fact of being on a hill, the spaces in which animals are installed are extremely small and realizes that the pets have an air of sadness, and some perform quite bored and annoyed by the presence of the visitors. Facing this situation, I couldn't even finish the tour, because I couldn't bear to see animals in those conditions.
