Beautiful place to walk, you can walk with peace and security and find everything you need in food and shopping. The people are very friendly, we looked at with a map in hand and several approached to ask if we needed help. The only thing complicated is the taxi. (do not take the yellow / black, because they charge you anything). It is preferable to reserve hotel or shopping centres.

Vitacura is one of the ABC1 comunas of Santiago, such as Las Condes or Providence. Its main axis is the Vitacura Street, Avenue where there is trade in luxury goods and there is also a diverse range of restaurants of all kinds. The sectors most recognized and suitable for tourists are: Borderío, Mall House waterfront and Barrio El Bosque... In Borderío and district forest there is a very wide range of restaurants you can try almost anything you want... Security in all these places is good, although of all and as in any place, are tiomar precautions...

Simple place, without much to do. Prefer other spots near Santiago to visit or even in Santiago.

Nice part of town. It is a little high-end & pricy, but streets are cleans, secured, and there are lots of parks around! No high rise so the view on the mountains & the city is nice. Plus there is a path following the Mapocho River which you can either walk or bike along until town.

I am not Vitacura am of Peñalolén, down Av. kennedy at the height of tabancura and I find a portal of TAG which I had to pass, at that moment I thought: pay the highways day pass which is roughly $5,000 per day. At the time not a collection of motorway, but a citation I get 1st jurisdictions of local police in Vitacura, under apercebimiento. It turns out that pass through this new gantry 1 one time has a value of $46.787. Eye that the inspector is really an exploitation of the dealership the Attorney... bone, is understood. One of the sinverguenzura most in this country. Surely must believe that we are all rich as the people who live in Vitacura. Even when the injustices in this country!. It must be denunuciarlos to the media as we know in this country it works not otherwise that by highlighting these abuses that must occur on a daily basis.
