At Vina Cousino Macul, you don't need to leave the city to see a scenic, family-run winery. The winery has been in the Cousino family since 1856, and though recently expanded to more remote locations, the original vineyard remains in the center of Chile's capital. Take a tour of the historical building and spacious wine cellars, and stoll the rows of vines. After the guided tour, available in English, you can sample their prized reds and whites, with a platter of assorted cheeses and fruits. Make Vina Cousino Macul a centerpiece of your Santiago vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Santiago trip planner.

Undoubtedly one of my best vineyard tours ever. I have made many similar tours over the years at UK, France, Mexico and even in India, but this was special. Though the tour was supposed to be in Spanish, our tour guide Leonardo quickly realized that i was the lone brave foreigner making it to chile during the pandemic and made every effort to go out of his way to translate his best, and i understood most of Item. The history and heritage of this 160 years old place (3rd oldest vineyard in Chile) is amazing! And i did learn quite a few new tips around wine tasting and wine making. Thanks Leonardo! :)
Alex was great guy to guide us with a plenty of knowledge of history and wines. I feel wonderful, historical and tasty journey. He also speak in english fluently.
Per the manager tours were only available in Spanish, English tours has to be reserved 24 hours prior. What's odd is there was a guide that spoke English and offered to do the tour for us because she was free. She spoke to the manager and he told her not to. My husband and I were even willing to pay for a private tour. Would not attempt to visit again.
Excellent tour with Valentina, very knowledgeable about the wine and history. Perfect English too! Got two bottles of wine to bring home 😋
This was definitely the highlight of my visit in Santiago. This is one of the oldest and the most traditional winery with a very interesting history. Even though it's very accessible from Santiago city, they have a beautiful vineyard and cellars. I did the traditional tour and I got to try more than 3 wines so that was another plus!
