Where to stay in Santiago

Santiago features numerous distinct neighborhoods filled with affordable sleeping options. For easiest access to the city's top museums and eateries, consider the hotels located in the pleasant downtown area, where you can also find many furnished apartments ideal for longer stays. For close proximity to the city's best nightlife options, consider Bellavista or Barrios Lastarria, or head to charming Providencia if you prefer something a bit more sophisticated and less raucous.

  • The Torre Entel is telecommunications, but the led screen that surrounds it, and different ads that sometimes placed on it make it to highlight. It is near the Casa de La Moneda.

  • I get the impression the observation deck is no longer open to the public. At least there's no obvious visitors entrance.
  • Building icon of Santiago. Tower built in the 70's still building more high at that time, its function was to create telecommunications to the country. All the end of year the tower is illuminated with Fireworks that welcomes you to the new year. Would be ideal that this tower was opened to the general public to appreciate its architecture and antennas.
