  • Beautiful and enormous pool of nearly 100 meters long, in optimal conditions. Secure complex, excellent care and impeccable services. It is advisable to go early to seize the day and walk around the hill where is located.

  • We went to the pool on a hot day and hot. The pool is excellent and was full of people. I thought well organized for a public space. When I arrived, the coat check girl was outside the locker room chatting with other people but as soon as I approached her, she was nice and answer. The lifeguards are kind of boring, they're picking on everyone. My boyfriend, who wears glasses, had to take off the sunglasses and ran out to see. Other than that, it was very nice, the pool has a wonderful visual of Santiago and was the highlight of the Metropolitan Park (we know the entire Park). It's worth it to learn a little of the local habits.

  • It's a great location, clean pool. You have a place to leave your things. And a place right outside to buy soda, water and food.
  • Terrible place. Expensive and not worth it.
  • Excellent pool at the top of Santiago. Great views and is typically not as busy as the other pool, as it can be fairly difficult to get to. Note to visitors, there is a toll to get in to the park if you drive (4.000 pesos), a toll to take the gondola (plus a long wait if it's busy!), AND a toll to get in to the pool (7.500 pesos). Also, when we tried to go on a Saturday, the entrance at Pedro de Valdivia was closed to vehicles until 1330, so we decided to walk up the mountain, which is typically about a 35-45 min walk. Quick tip if you are walking up, you can sneak up through the bushes to make the switchbacks go quicker! Also, there are stairs going up near the gondola that will shave off some time too.
  • Great view, calm place, much less crowded than other comparable places in the Santiago area.
  • Nice location, but nothing to eat, clean and not crowed

Where to stay in Santiago

Santiago features numerous distinct neighborhoods filled with affordable sleeping options. For easiest access to the city's top museums and eateries, consider the hotels located in the pleasant downtown area, where you can also find many furnished apartments ideal for longer stays. For close proximity to the city's best nightlife options, consider Bellavista or Barrios Lastarria, or head to charming Providencia if you prefer something a bit more sophisticated and less raucous.
