  • Ideal to enjoy nature and trekking that there can be. I was in the month of may in Santiago when the temperatures fall and snow, so it was a beautiful landscape see all surrounded by snow, although performed hiking had to be very carefully for danger of slip. Ideal also for making a barbecue with friends, camping, playing with the snow, touring the beautiful views of this sanctuary and see the stars at night, by the way, are accomplished to see thousands. It has tables, grills and restrooms. At the time of upload 15 curves, and if the place is with snow, handle with caution. Wonderful experience when it snows. Do not forget to wear thermal underwear, slippers to snow, etc.

  • Great place to do hiking. Peaceful and close to Santiago. Hiking paths for different levels, from beginners to experts. Even if you go with your family and don't want to hike, there are barbecues grills.
  • Great hikes from easy to very hard. Camp grounds.
  • expensive place to camp. long hike, not worth it without water.
  • Lovely place
  • Spend a special day on the way to and during the time we were there. Place with. structure for camping and picnic. It's worth the climb and descent-a little stressful. The road cutting through the mountain curves who lives in ascent and is for a car, only. Towards security and essential.

Where to stay in Santiago

Santiago features numerous distinct neighborhoods filled with affordable sleeping options. For easiest access to the city's top museums and eateries, consider the hotels located in the pleasant downtown area, where you can also find many furnished apartments ideal for longer stays. For close proximity to the city's best nightlife options, consider Bellavista or Barrios Lastarria, or head to charming Providencia if you prefer something a bit more sophisticated and less raucous.
