  • Many (ten or fifteen) trains of various sizes, origins and eras that have already been used in Chile, with good explanations of each. In one of them you can go in and see what was a former passenger train. I found it very cool.

  • Another Museum within the Park Thursday Normal, is great not only to admire the locomotives, but also give a relaxed and forget you're in a big city. It's quiet and fun, the landscapes around the locomotives are beautiful, yield amazing photos! The visit also allows you to learn a little bit about the development of the country since colonization.

  • Just found this museum because I visited the Quinta Normal station to see the most famous museums right on the day of the municipal elections and they were all closed, except the Railway Museum. Is small and simple, but can take some cool photos on top of trains and in a few, too. Is paid, but is there a discount for student (even abroad) showing document and the elderly.

  • A place full of memories and emotions. You magically moved to 90 when a train journey to the South was one of the most fond memories of my childhood... has a great variety of old machines and wagons that it is possible to upload. It has a tour by the presidential car but is limited to certain hours since it is done with guide, is one of the places that worth visiting if you're a lover of the railways

  • Very cute, as ferroaficionado are missing machines electric and diesel hope hopefully in a time more take the initiative of rescue machines electric of all that have scrapped, but apart from that very cute and I like much an attraction in particular (the campaign of form of drop, that is entering).

  • The old system of transportation. Several locomotives to coal, diesel, electricity. Ideal for children after the National Museum of Natural history.
