  • Worth the visit, if the subway get off at station Patronage. The street which connects the station to the market is really weird, trade of used things, deserve care. The market is very interesting, food, fruit, cold cuts, fish, typical sweets. For those who like culture, this is much better than the central market, which is for tourist.

  • The central Vega has a lot of variety and offer, prices are very convenient, low is what must be careful with the Spears.

  • One of the best markets in the world. From seasonal fruits and veggies to gourmet spices and groceries. Tons of butcher's where you'll find beef, chicken, pork, turkey, lamb and horse meat!!! Also lots of small places to eat traditional Chilean and Peruvian cuisine. It is a bit dirty and I'd recommend not to come wearing expensive jewellery. Always keep your bags zipped up and across your chest not hanging from your shoulders.
  • Excellent quality and variety of vegetables. The vendors are warm and friendly. Affordable prices, although not the cheapest.
  • Lo mejor de lo nuestro
  • No tour of Santiago is complete without a visit to La Vega. It's cramped and crowded, but it has a large variety of fresh produce, cheap lunch options, and even a coffee cart serving quality coffee. Just ignore the cats dozing amongst the produce...
  • The best most delicious fresh food you can get
