  • The market and great, it is possible to find local products at a fair price and also allows to insert in the local culture, but care must be taken with the belongings and women suffer verbal harassment.

  • For me it is one of the most impressive places of Santiago. Where it is possible to see the true reality of the country. People working, fruits, vegetables, the trunk trunk people, cats asleep on top of the stands. Amazing!

  • One of the best markets in the world. From seasonal fruits and veggies to gourmet spices and groceries. Tons of butcher's where you'll find beef, chicken, pork, turkey, lamb and horse meat!!! Also lots of small places to eat traditional Chilean and Peruvian cuisine. It is a bit dirty and I'd recommend not to come wearing expensive jewellery. Always keep your bags zipped up and across your chest not hanging from your shoulders.
  • Excellent quality and variety of vegetables. The vendors are warm and friendly. Affordable prices, although not the cheapest.
  • The best marketplace in Santiago for buying all kinds of fruits and vegetables at the best price. Chefs usually come to this place for buying the freshest and tastiest food.
  • The best place to find all kinds vegetables, fruits and food. It gets really crowded so you have to get yourself some patience to go there, but totally worth it
  • Main place to buy vegetables and fruits not only from all the country but from different countries. Very typical place, very attractive for the tourists, near the Central Market (Mercado Central), the Main Square, the Cathedral and different churches.
