  • Years ago, he visited La Vega to buy vegetables and fruits for the home, not only by their low prices but for the unsurpassed quality of its products, variety and brilliance and joy in the care of the tobacco which is always appreciated. You will find everything in La Vega mention apart the Hall of Peruvians who bring us with their products and flavors. And my favorite places? Where Omar and Hugo, all vegetables and fruits, and Carola selling eggs and olives. Oh, and a great post of nuts. The latest is a very safe place, they themselves are responsible for so.

  • One of the best markets in the world. From seasonal fruits and veggies to gourmet spices and groceries. Tons of butcher's where you'll find beef, chicken, pork, turkey, lamb and horse meat!!! Also lots of small places to eat traditional Chilean and Peruvian cuisine. It is a bit dirty and I'd recommend not to come wearing expensive jewellery. Always keep your bags zipped up and across your chest not hanging from your shoulders.
  • Excellent quality and variety of vegetables. The vendors are warm and friendly. Affordable prices, although not the cheapest.
  • The best marketplace in Santiago for buying all kinds of fruits and vegetables at the best price. Chefs usually come to this place for buying the freshest and tastiest food.
  • The best place to find all kinds vegetables, fruits and food. It gets really crowded so you have to get yourself some patience to go there, but totally worth it
  • Main place to buy vegetables and fruits not only from all the country but from different countries. Very typical place, very attractive for the tourists, near the Central Market (Mercado Central), the Main Square, the Cathedral and different churches.
