  • Being the 2nd church built in santiago over 400 years ago, for anyone can be a church more... but few know legends that hides this temple along with the Christ of may that stays inside. It is worth to find out a bit about the history of this Christ, the Crown of thorns is located in his neck after a big earthquake or also the history of who was his owner Catalina de Los Ríos.

  • It is a church in the historic center of Santiago. It has a notable crucifix, may Christ, legend belonging to Catalina de los Ríos y Lisperguer, known as La Quintrala, famous Lady of the Santiago-based aristocracy of the 17TH century, famous for his reprehensible conduct. It is said that she sent to throw the crucifix to the street. The Crown of thorns fell on his neck and the times it is tried to return to your site, the city suffered strong tremors. She has his tomb in this church.
