  • Church without many attractions, half hidden among the historic buildings of downtown Santiago. It is a block from the Palacio de La Moneda, practically on the corner of Bandera and Moneda. It's worth putting in the script if you're strolling through the region. Get off at Universidad de Chile subway station and walk two blocks.

  • On the outside, it is striking for its yellow facade that contrasts with somber buildings of the Santiago Center. The interior is very sober and elegant.

  • Historical heritage of the city and historical monument, is a must if you are interested in history. Built in the second half of the 19th century and remodeled recently, is architecturally beautiful and the paintings on the ceiling are to enjoy them for a long time. Somewhere in the Christ of Mayo (ask for the story of this Christ) takes care of visitors to it and the altar of Santa Rita de Casia is one of the busiest. Regardless of your religious beliefs, you should visit this temple and encountered something of the history of our city.

  • The Church is not so pretty but the surroundings are worth it.

  • This church was built by the order of the Augustinians. The current Temple was built after the great earthquake of 1647 and restored again after the quake occurred in 1730. The San Agustin Church was declared a national monument in 1981.
